I laid each of the outside pieces out: the top in the dresser, the again and each on the sides. Basically every thing apart from the drawer fronts. I used just one coat of paint with a foam roller to paint over the solid wood. And because it had been a dark color and has this kind of good coverage, I didn’t need to make use of primer first
